PRANA Yoga Mat Optimization

A local yoga studio called PRANA Yoga needed a system to alert incoming students where to place their yoga mats when they walked into class. Previous solutions could not be used because the teaching orientation of the class would switch based on what was being taught. Our design team decided to solve the problem by installing a daisy chained strip of LEDs across two walls of the studio. The LED strips generated a grid of lights which told the students where they should place their mats, and the orientation of the class would be switched via an IR remote.
